Proper Care, Usage Instructions & Recommendations:
- Charge completely before 1st use.
- Charger Light Indicator: RED when charging / GREEN when fully charged
- Store in cool dry place
- When storing the battery for extended periods of time (1 month or more ) fully charge and then disconnect the charger
- Always assist motor by pedaling when climbing hills to increase battery life
- Always store battery indoors at night. Never leave your battery outside overnight.
- Disconnect the battery wire from the Controller when not in use
- Do not intentionally short battery leads
- Use only supplied charger
- Leaving the charger plugged into the battery for extended periods of time is ok
- No “Memory Effect “, this battery can be recharged at any time, in fact, it is always better to charge fully before each ride.
- Secure the battery to the bicycle and lock into place with Key Lock
- In very cold climate ( 0 Celsius ) , the battery will have less capacity

Industry Leading 18 Month Warranty
LiFePo4 Battery Packs are warranted for a period of 1 Year or 18 months from the date of purchase depending on the battery purchased. A pack will be deemed defective if it fails to deliver 80% of nominal capacity within 1 year of purchase when discharged at 1.5C with a static resistive load following full charge with an approved charger. The E-BikeKit™ 36v 10ah Prismatic LiFePo4 will be deemed defective if it fails to deliver any discharge within 12-18 months of purchase when discharged at 1.5C with a static resistive load following full charge with an approved charger.
Sealed Lead Acid
Sealed lead acid batteries, which are also known as SLA batteries are utilized for wide variety of applications including vehicular electronics, UPS and computer systems, wheelchairs, scooters, industrial and medical equipment and more. Sealed lead acid batteries are the least expensive and heaviest battery option. They also have a short cycle life if used regularly in deep discharge applications. For electric bikes, they are most often connected in a series to form 36V or 48V packs.
